I never thought that I would start 2020 with this pandemic situation. Things around me are so challenging. I can’t get out of my house because of the Corona Virus. Corona has made so many changes in our life. People have a fear that if they go outside, if they touch anything in the groceries, they might get the virus.

Questions raised on my mind, “how is it possible to stay home 24/7?”. Eventually you’ll get bored if you watch tv all the time or use your phone.  Every evening I see people outside through my window. They are out with gloves on their hands and masks on their faces.

I feel like this quarantine made us learn a lot of things. Since childhood I really wanted to be a photographer because I feel like you can capture your memories in the picture and when you’re bored, you can see those pictures to refresh your mind. I went outside with my camera and took some beautiful pictures.

I came back home before sunset. I did some school work. On my leisure time, I started to think again that I should work more on my photography skills, I should spend more time with my family. I want to do something positive this quarantine rather staying home all day and playing games with my friends.

This is a road that runs along side of my home. It’s Ash Street Extension but we refer to it as the lane.  Having so much more time on my hands being out of school and without organized sports,  I have had the chance to appreciate this road in a different way.   As a child I road my bike, scooter and electric car up and down it for fun,  These days I walk it for exercise with / without my dog and  for fresh air to take in the beauty.   It’s peaceful.
